28th Oct, Emmy and Tom's Last Day in School

Couldn't help but tear when the Tom and Emmy's dad came to pick them up on time.
Tom gave me a last gift (his bowel).
HAHA. The cute Poo Poo Prince!~
I was more than happy to clean him up!
It was my last time to do that for him.
Though the two lovable kids have only been with us for 2 months,
I've developed some bond and love for them.
Especially Tom who has recently been up to some mischief.
Sometimes I wonder if I should display an angry look
or should I laugh at him
I couldn't control myself at times.
He's just so cheeky!


I couldn't bear to see them leave.
Thank god, Mr Bello exchanged his email address with me.
Added him and his wife on Fb.
He updated me with a photo of Tom and his new "Tom" plush toy!
I'm glad the kids love the gifts.

Wonder how's their vacation at Bali now.
Must be soaking in the water?
Hope they will have a great time before returning home!

I Live for Myself

I felt really sore and angry at work today.
However, I chanced upon Elvin's blog.
He's facing the same dilemma as well.
Read the comments and I felt as though they were written for me!
It gave me the strength to move on.
Perhaps silence is really golden.
Actions and time will speak for itself.
I live for myself.

The Passing On of Mrs. LKY

Mrs. LKY passed on on 2nd October at 5.40pm at her home.

I was shocked to hear of the news.
Watched a short documentry on the story of her life with MM Lee tonight.
I was touched.
She was an incredible lady.
Capable at work and a good mother and wife as well.
She was the pillar of support for our Mentor Minister.
I guess without this strong support, he might not have the strength to go this far.
I wondered to myself..
Will I ever have a chance to live this long with the man I love and be each others' pillar of support in life?
